KNIT expo hosted a real-time hand-knitting art event – learn, knit, beautify the tree at the Contemporary Craft Fair (Bovey Tracey, Devon, June '11). Participants created starry gift for the tree.
Belinda and Ruth and the KNIT expo team embellished and wrapped the tree in undyed yarn. The project was to excite members of the public about knitting, teaching people to knit through them creating knitted stars.
