The narrowest street in the world can be found in Exeter and was built during the 14th century. The street, which is a mere 45 inches at its widest point and less than 25 inches at is narrowest, used to be referred to as Small Lane.

Ruth and Belinda will be hosting a 'get away from it all knitting adventures'; a chance for a wonderful relaxing, luxurious, absorbing weekend in Devon, knitting.

... spring/summer woolly wonder weekend held at a beautiful hotel with panoramic views over Brixham harbour: Quayside Hotel, Brixham, Devon.

 

A weekend packed with knitting; workshops (lots of learning and sharing), eat a traditional cream-tea, visit Exeter Cathedral and the narrowest street in the world!, go for a coastal walk along the South Devon shoreline or dip your toes in the Devon sea,, visit the famous fishing harbour of Brixham, watch knitting films and share your knitting projects, dreams and skills with a group of great fun experienced knitters!

Or just come and put your feet up, knit and relax! If you want to learn to knit this weekend is for you too.

The KNIT retreat will cost £380 per person which will include: 7 hours knitting (training/upskilling through hands-on learning, quizzes, film, games etc.), 2 nights in a glorious hotel (including full English breakfast), time to relax (visit places of interest, shop, go to the sea, excursions etc) and for an extra fee come with Ruth and Belinda on a 'little jolly' to the 'Lazy Toad' traditional Devon 'country-side' restaurant.
