'People’s Portfolio’ Wall with photos, patterns, garments, press cuttings and samples that you can add to by bringing any of the above to the show.*
Sit and record your own hands making stitches; an area for people to have their hands filmed/recorded while knitting (with a live display) – adding people's personal knitting style to the 'record'.
Leaf through the books, publications and artefacts that have informed and inspired the knitters before us.
Write in the knitting for the record: Visitor's Book what you want to pass to the next generation of people who knit, from technique to philosophy
*please note we cannot return them or be responsible for their safety during the show.
Starting with a blank canvas; it evolves into a warm memory wall of hand-knitting history.

"We think that knitting is,
and always has been
a people-up occupation
and remains (literally)
in our hands." - Ruth Morris
Virtual (national and international)
See this all on our on-line Exhibition on this website after the show.
If you would rather send us a photo of your bias block and your words we will add them to our virtual 'Exhibition' Wall. info@knitexpo.co.uk
