I knit,
you knit,
we all knit together,
would it be the same if we were empty-handed
( politely) staring?

I digress
so the question is: Is knitting becoming more popular?
We already know the answer: yes
I cannot stress
enough the ecstasy I’ve seen two sticks and a chunk of yarn bring to you and me and her and him and … see…
It should really become government policy
to get the corporate conglomerates to make it compulsory
for everyone to knit at least 15mins every day;
stress relieving therapy; knitting people together; bit like sweet lyrical harmony!

We all love to knit

Come and have a slice of cake with us at KNIT expo's the big KNIT show 2010 Winter event!

On the 13th November

@ the Corn Exchange - Exeter, Devon

AND knitting is therapy; it is conversation and moments, intimacy and sharing, exploration and innovation, sharing of ideas and up-skilling, life stories and lots of laughter, listening and being listened to; in essence, it is community.

Knitting links the generations and, as one passes on its skill to the next, it also links us with our cultural heritage and roots.

Knitting us together...
