Glastonbury Wool Festival
This year, Ackroyd & Dawson and The Somerset Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers, along with Councillor Alan Gloak and the Freemen of Glastonbury are hosting a town wide wool festival.
The day will start at 10am with the Annual Sheep Run, where sheep and alpacas will then be penned for public view in the market square. The Town Hall will offer a Knit 'n' Natter where you can acquire support or learn a new skill.
Weaving and spinning demostrations will be ongoing all day with the opportunity for hands on experience for all ages.
